Participation is open to all persons interested in Physical Modelling in Geotechnics.

Please note that all persons intending to attend the Conference must register including speakers. Please read the registration information before you complete the online form.

All online registrations must be completed by Tuesday 24th December 2013.

The member registration fee entitles delegates to the following:  

  • All sessions
  • Welcome Reception
  • First Andrew Schofield Lecture and Reception
  • Conference Dinner, including transfers to the dinner venue
  • Daily Conference catering (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea)
  • Conference Proceedings book
  • Satchel

Student*/Technician Registrations

The student and technician registration fee entitles delegates to the following:  

  • All sessions
  • Welcome Reception
  • First Andrew Schofield Lecture and Reception
  • Conference Dinner, including transfers to the dinner venue
  • Daily Conference catering (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea)

*A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. 

Please note:  A copy of your student identification card must be sent to the Conference Managers via fax to + 61 2 9267 5443 or email to icpmg2014@arinex.com.au Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Daily Bus Transfers

A daily shuttle service has been arranged for delegates to transfer from the provided accommodation to the Conference venue. The daily shuttle service will run in the morning and afternoon once sessions have finished and will stop at the Rydges Hotel, Ibis Hotel and the University of Western Australia.

The shuttle service will run Tuesday 14th, Wednesday 15th, Thursday 16th and Friday 17th January 2014. The cost of the shuttle service is $45.00 and this price is inclusive of all four days.

Important Registration Information

Credit Card Payment Online

Online Registration is preferred. Click here to register and book your accommodation in 'real time'. Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card.

Accepted credit cards: MasterCard and Visa. American express and Diners Club are not accepted. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to 'Conference by arinex'.

Cheque Payments

All payments by cheque incur a $10 processing fee.

Cheque payments will only be accepted up until December 5, 2013. After this date, all registrations and accommodation bookings must be submitted online with credit card details at www.icpmg2014.com.au or by calling +61 2 9265 0700.

Cheques are to be made payable to ICPMG 2014/arinex pty ltd. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. Cheque payments from overseas must be a bank cheque in Australian Dollars drawn on an Australian Bank. No other currency will be accepted.

Please note: You may not pay your fees by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Acknowledgements

Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email or post with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your form. You will not receive any further publications before the Conference. Your letter of acknowledgment will include any further advice necessary prior to your arrival at the Conference.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers at icpmg2014@arinex.com.au

Registration Fees:
Cancellations before 1 January 2014 will incur an A$100.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations before 10 January 2014 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
Cancellations after 10 January 2014 there will be no refund.

Accommodation:
One night's deposit must be paid at time of booking to guarantee reservation.
Deposit is non-refundable at 13 December 2013.

Social:
Payments are non-refundable at 10 January 2014.

Disclaimer

The programme is correct at the time of publishing.  The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the programme or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice.  Neither the host organisation nor the Conference organisers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

The Conference organisers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the conference and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference, or through cancellation of the Conference, loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia, failure to utilise tours or pre booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover), loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The conference managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
